Very disappointing experience with Westpac. Last week, I used the cash deposit machine at this branch and deposited $6,000 in cash. The machine only credited $5,600, meaning $400 was swallowed by the machine and was not credited to my account. Because this happened a week ago, when I first spoke to the staff today, I mistakenly said that I had deposited around $5,000. Forever waiting an hour for the most simple visits, understaffed and many seem inexperienced. Incredibly frustrating, no matter what time of day they don't have enough people but while a line of us wait, 2 staff members have gone past without any help.
The rudest staff of any westpac. The girl on the front desk very rude then when the manager came out also very abrupt. Take your business to a different branch of westpac.
**WORTH READING** The EXACT SAME as many others have complained about - the staff at WestPac Miranda are very grouchy, rude and unhelpful. What an absolute joke to find out that in 2026 the computer age of AI etc etc not only does it take a "banking day" to process a cc payment but it still takes 3 freaking days for a BANK cheque to be cleared funds? What the hell is the point of a BANK cheque if it takes the 3 banking days to clear? Rendering it no different to a personal cheque?
