I sat down with "Libby" to fill out a discharge authority for a mortgage in which the process took 25+ minutes only to be told just now by my conveyancer that their office has not received such authority. "Libby" was also most put out that I entered the branch without an appointment to which she stated a number of times under huffed breath. Pretty poor service from someone who has just paid out 2 mortgages 16 years early. I will be closing my other Westpac account.

Booked an appointment at 2pm. Arrived 15 minutes early out of courtesy to my appointment time. Sat and waited until 2:30pm while I was all but ignored by all of the staff members. What is the point of making an appointment at all? Very disappointed. Do not recommend this branch at all. The team are disorganised and unprofessional.
