We had to visit the A&E department last Saturday night after a girl in our care sustained a burn… The team are amazing and quickly showed us into a cubicle…. We had to wait to be seen by the doctor, but that was to be understood… But we were given tea and biscuits… Every single member of staff was pleasant and friendly… Whilst obviously we would rather have not had to visit A&E, we cannot fault the care and service we received. Thank you!

Went in with ectopic pregnancy. Took bloods and was left sat waiting 6 hours for results to come back. The AnE doctor said that they would contact me once they got blood test results back to determine what kind of pregnancy I am having! That the doctor will back into the hospital to see EPAC or that I have to go to st Michael's hospital. Don't know why they didn't just send me to EPAC to begin with but there you go! My name is Tracey Britten I was sent to A&E by 111 service, (told to be there within an hour) given instructions about what to do on route if condition worsened. I have a spinal condition that could detereate leading to very serious consequences including paralysis. Soon after arrival I was seen by triage ( my form had a red "urgent stamped on it) she also said she was aware of the potential consequences of the condition.
