I have been dreading writing this review, as this is a place I once loved. I brought my dog, Java, to be euthanized. She had been struggling with what I assumed was arthritis for a while. She progressively got worse until she struggled to even make it out to potty. She stopped eating, unless it was a really special treat. I had brought her in maybe a little over a year before for an x-ray. It was done during covid, so I wasn’t allowed inside. To this day, I’ve never seen the x-rays. I just took their word. I adore these doctors! I live in Macon and drive to Perry just for them to take care of my dog. I normally see Dr. Slappey but I’ve seen them all and they are wonderful. Dr. Slappey does not rush to see another patient and he takes time with his animals. I genuinely feel like this animal hospital is looking out for the interest of your pet. It is clean, the staff is no nice and I’ve always been pleased with them. I highly recommend this vet!
