Dad has advanced Parkinson's and needed help getting to the bathroom. The aide came to his room and watched him have to use his dinner cart to get to the bathroom and watched as he fell and watched him crawl the rest of the way to the toilet. Additionally he doesn't receive his medication on time and that is crucial to managing symptoms. Several times he's not been able to feed himself because of not getting pills in time. On those days he goes hungry because the staff doesn't care.
Not happy with Westminster, Bradenton. My 97 year old step-mother has lived there for over 5 years, paying a very hefty rent each month. We purchased her a lift electric chair several months ago and the wires came unhooked from underneath the chair. I requested that maintenance take a quick look at it to see if they could re-hook the wire. That was three weeks ago.
