My experience today was in line with what other folks said in these reviews (Scroll to the bottom for the head of the radiologyclinic admitting that they discriminate against women!). The woman who did my mammogram, Teress (sp?) kept calling me "sweetie" & "my dear." I asked her to stop (am I a child? Last time I checked I had a PhD and was an adult woman. Tried calling to make an appointment. After being transferred numerous times and relaying my medical information I was put on hold for over an hour. Eventually I hung up. Seems impossible to make an appointment

I visited today, I had a mammogram and ultrasound of my breasts. The woman who performed my mammogram, her name is Luz. She was so rude, she did not acknowledge me had me change and disappeared, I looked in a room and she says “have a seat ” so rudely. Woman are already nervous or perhaps feeling anxious and to have the person who is performing an exam on you be so dry, rude is unacceptable. Please do better West med. Maybe some empathy training.

My appoint was cancelled due to the rainstorm on 9/29/23. I called to reschedule for today so I showed up to the office only to find out they never recorded my appointment in their database. I was lucky to be seen but my radiologist was very rude and disrespectful. A mammogram technician needs to be caring specially to patients like me with breast implants who are always anxious during mammograms.
