truly horrible and incompetent people working in there
I would like to sincerely thank the entire hospital team for the outstanding care provided during my stay. From the front desk to the medical staff, everyone was supportive, kind, and professional. The doctors explained everything clearly, the nurses were incredibly caring, and the facilities were well maintained. I felt safe, respected, and well looked after. I had a really bad experience at Westmead Hospital during payment. The cashier with curly hair was rude and was on a phone call while processing my payment. Later, when I returned to the reception, I was told that the payment she made was not for the doctors, even though I had clearly specified it. Because of her mistake, I had to make the long trip back again to correct it, which was especially difficult as I am 7 months pregnant. The bald guy at reception seriously needs to learn some manners. Being rude and dismissive to people who are simply asking questions is unacceptable. It doesn’t cost a dime to be polite, especially when you're the first point of contact. A little courtesy would go a long way.
Completely incompetent staff. Was instructed to complete a certain process by reception staff only for that to be contradicted by the midwife that called me later that day. Despite going through the correct channels: saw my GP who uploaded my referral to their website as instructed by reception, the midwife called and said I would need to see my GP for another referral if I wasn’t able to go in for an appointment this month as they “might lose my referral” by then 🤦♀️ had to clarify how they could lose a digital referral t... read more
