I had an amazing experience at Westmead Public Hospital! The midwives and birth unit staff were exceptional. I want to especially thank Midwife Sam Mundi and Dr Janna for their outstanding care during the birth of my second daughter. Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and confident — he just knew exactly what to do and when to do it. Reception staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. I visited with my wife, and they showed no courtesy or professionalism, seeming unsure of what they were supposed to do.
Haven't had a baby yet, but my wife just had an ultrasound and Lynnette was amazing. She's an extremely kind and professional person and it made a big difference
I recently gave birth at Westmead hospital and have experienced the Birthing and Maternity unit. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience despite having a challenging labour and delivery. We were fortunate enough to be part of the Caseload Midwivery program which definitely elevated the experience as our midwife Fi was professional, skilled, empathetic and reassuring across the whole 9 months of the pregnancy.
