Not worth the wind from my freckle!. Rude, arrogant, entitled attitudes both on the phone and in person. No hand hygiene procedures followed like they are supposed to!. Avoid the night staff as much as you possibly can! Blacktown hospital is a better option. Or if you want to have a very affordable 5 start hotel like experience giving birth. Go to Thailand and pay $2300. You’ll be surprised at how good it is, that’s a private hospital too!, and they give you a full care package for the mum and bub all inclusive of the price.
I usually come everyday for CTG and all the midwives are amazing, but today 27/1/2026 the midwives are very bad! I walked into the DAU and no one asked me how can we help till I asked them that I have a booking for ballon and CTG and also I haven’t felt any movement today. They really don’t care and they said you have to wait. That is absolutely not good especially I have induction tomorrow and they made me very stressed.
Had a very positive stay at Westmead public. The maternity ward staff are amazing. Every nurse was caring and knew mine, baby and dad’s name and helped when we freaked out as new parents.
I am incredibly grateful that I gave birth at Westmead Hospital. I had the privilege of being cared for by truly amazing midwives and doctors who went above and beyond in every way. Special thanks to Krista Yasmin and Natasha from the birth unit—quite literally, they saved my life. I had a very complicated labor, and without their skill, quick action, and unwavering support, I would not be here today.
