I had to call regarding the wait time for a broken ankle and the young man on the phone was very helpful
I’d like to start off by stating that there is either some acute Compassion Fatigue or a serious case of the “ I can’t be bothers” virus with admitting staff and triage nurse at this Hospital. Racially profiling me as a person who has moved province to province while cringing at the idea that my tetanus shots aren’t up to date is not cool… at all.. not today and not ever. My 15 year old went in for mental health. They transfered her from westlock without even a phone call to inform me. I don't mind she got transfered, my issue is the transportation of a minor without the parents knowledge. If my daughter didn't have a phone. I would've went into the hospital and not had a clue where she is. For shame on the entire ER staff at westlock.
