We had always liked this clinic and Dr. Budihal for routine care. He was professional, and did well with our pets' regular checkups and minor health issues. Unfortunately, our experience changed when our dog started having symptoms and various issues. Instead of investigating the underlying cause of his ongoing symptoms, we felt the treatment focused only on managing those symptoms. I highly recommend the services at Westland veterinary hospital. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I have several animals and westland have been amazing at getting me in when my pets needed care. Happy to support an independent veterinary hospital.
I'm confused, and not a vet. Don't get me wrong I like the vet, but shouldn't step 1, 2 and 3 at ANY veterinary appointment be, 1 take the dogs temperature, 2 scope in the ears, and 3 read the microchip?! I've been several times now and not once has ANY of these procedures been preformed on my dog! That and you get inundated with texts, and emails to "confirm" or "reminders" I made the appointment.
