I owned a vehicle solely in my name. Premiums were being taken from my personal bank account. I tried to cancel the policy but they told me that they would not cancel it because my ex-wife was named on the policy. They had no contact information for her and had no way of contacting her to cancel the policy. That seems to be their problem, not mine. Regrettably this is the first and hopefully only time that I post a negative review of a company. I have used Westland Insurance for 6 yrs now since moving back to Calgary from ON to assist my senior parents due to a terminal cancer diagnosis for my Mother. A very good, lifelong neighbour’s son was working for Westland Insurance so I got on board with him to insure my vehicle as I believe in helping out friends, neighbours and community and my parents had done the same to give him and Westland Insurance our business.
