They need more front end staff like Tina! She gets to know people, understands people and makes it feel like the most welcoming experience. Always greets me by my first name, and has been around since I was pregnant with both my kids, so we’ve seen a lot of each other. Now, anytime I need to get in with my kids she always helps even if it’s squeezing something in last minute. Westland Family Practice should be very proud to have Tina.
I have to say, previous reviews made me nervous about this clinic, but I have had nothing but good experiences over the last 6 months that my daughters and I have been patients here. It sometimes takes awhile to get in with the doctor, but for urgent child illnesses like ear aches or skin issues they have gotten my kiddos in quickly (same or next day) with a nurse to be assessed. Front desk staff is rude and unhelpful when asked questions about when to book appointments. Doctors are good.
ALL receptionist are so rude. I honestly don’t understand how people get jobs to answer phones and provide customer service but have zero skills in doing so. Everyone’s job is stressful, but you don’t need to take it out on people looking to book a simple appointment. If you don’t like your job, get a new one.
