terrible experience with Westin. I would strongly caution anyone interested in a Westin home to think twice, and look at other builders. From beginning to end, there was constant confusion, a constant feeling of not being treated fairly, some interesting pricing/pressure tactics, and serious miscommunications (or a lack of communication altogether).They robbed myself and my family of what should have been a fun and happy experience. We had a very disappointing experience working with Westin Homes and would strongly encourage others to proceed with caution. Throughout our transaction, we encountered multiple inconsistencies and shifting requirements—specifically regarding the earnest money deposit. Policies were introduced after the fact that were not outlined in the purchase agreement or disclosed upfront. My experience with Westin Homes has been terrible. I was interested in buying a house with them, and aside from poor communication and a lack of transparency, they kept my $10,000 deposit, knowing that the property didn't exist at the time of the contract; it was just land. This lack of transparency was evident when Westin Homes told me that if the bank didn't approve the loan, my deposit ($10,000) would be returned. Dear Westin Homes Executive Leadership, Providence Title, and Lending Partners, On January 7, 2026, my husband and I arrived for our scheduled home closing at 12:15 PM for a 12:30 PM appointment.
