I’m so glad we went to westhills for X-rays and opinions. They were awesome in explaining everything and giving us advice. We ended up being referred for surgery at momentum which also went amazing. Dr Lindsey at Westhills and all their staff are just great I’m so glad we went!
We have been working with Westhills for almost 4 years for all of our rescue horses. The vets and staff take the time to get to know each new horse and their needs. They have accommodated many emergency cases and helped us rehabilitate dozens of horses who would’ve had a horrible outcome otherwise. In the cases, when we get horses that have no chance at a quality of life, Westhills has always been incredibly compassionate and helped us give these horses the most peaceful passing possible. READ THE FINE PRINTS!!! Rental fee for the shipping tank is $31 a day. I had issues with my local vet clinic and return took longer than expected. The total cost of shipping frozen semen from Alberta to Ontario was nearly $1000. Honestly, the most I deal with frozen, the less I think it's worth it. Edit: On July 3, I received an invoice that said: Total due: $390.60. I paid it on July 8, by e-transfer, assuming that they wanted me to pay them. Beautiful facility, lovely vets and staff. Took my mare in for a soundness exam yesterday. It was a wonderful experience. The vet was patient and kind, and thorough, and the tech got her cardio jogging in the cushy arena sand. Excellent service, and reasonable costs.
We have been clients of this excellent compassionate Equine Clinic for several years now. All the vets, vet assistants as well as the frontline staff have provided the best care for our horses. Emily has been our main vet, & her expertise & knowledge has always diagnosed their health issues & provided excellent follow-up as well as emergency care. We appreciate all the team but especially Emily!
