Great work crews, but poor customer service and management. I've had my new solar system up for a month now. It is not producing power. After weeks of trying to get a response from WestHaven, I called PGE. Turns out the system is non- compliant and PGE won't let it be connected to the grid. PgE has repeatedly tried to contact WestHave. But get no replies. I've paid WestHaven a hundred grand for this and as soon they got my money, they stopped communicating with me. Westhaven Solar installed our battery pack system, to which we agreed because PG&E was offering a substantial rebate to homeowners who already had solar and purchased the battery packs to pair with it. We have spent 9 months trying to find out where our rebate was. In the past 6 months, Westhaven's office representative, Jaap, has worked tirelessly as a go between with us & PG&E. They take the time to really help you. I got a gentleman that was really patient with me and I was able to text him what I was seeing on my app and he figured out the issue for me. Amazing!
BEWARE SCAMMERS- They will sell you a Tesla battery with the promise of a PGE rebate but then renege and say you don't qualify- promised rebate went from $11k to $2,320 after a year and a half of following up. I would not have purchased the battery if I wasn't promised the rebate. They deny their salesperson, no longer there, said anything and then they point out small print in the contract that I don't believe was there when signed.
Westhaven workers showed up on time, they were very professional, courteous and informative. They did a great job installing our solar panels. They did such a good clean up after they were done, you would have never guessed they were there. I highly recommend Westhaven.
Customer service was great specially follow-ups with ******* & *****. Always accommodating questions & requests. **** is the best sales person.

Living in a rural area with winter storm power outages and summer fire danger outages has left us without power for up to 4 days straight. Having 15kw of solar power worked great until the smoke or rains got so bad the batteries did not recharge. Contacting Westhaven, who had installed 10 kw of solar power on the roof, the tech stated that Tesla had Powerwalls that were batteries that stored 13 kw of power. Installers were amazing. The solar service itself seems to be doing what it should. The sales team on the other hand don’t seem capable of keeping their word and holding up their end of the customer service end once they have your signature and the loan company pays them their money. We had a disagreement/misunderstanding with our guy. Sales manager had a meeting with us and explained things better, offered us something to make it right on A Friday.
