We have the highest opinion and respect for Dr. Brooks. We've been going to him for well over 20 years. Our rating of 3 stars is solely due to the incompetence of the office staff. When we made the appointment, we were not informed the office on Hilltop Road was closed even though their website shows that as their location and that's the phone number we called. Also tried to make an appointment for each of us to see his P.A. and was told we could both go talk to her together. At the appointment only 1 of us was allowed to go... read more
Dr. Eaker has the coldest, most aloof bedside manner. I was seeing another physician for severe upper GI pain and our next step was to undergo testing that required me to be put completely under. I had never met Dr. Eaker before the procedure, and I can say he did not make me feel comfortable or confident. This was several months ago now, and I have yet to receive a phone call or letter with any test results. Horrible experience with a terrible doctor. Dr. Eaker definitively is not a happy-go-lucky-come-near-so-I-can-give-you-a-hug type Dr. I can count on 3 fingers the number of times I have actually interacted with him. Each time were 5 minutes or less. The first two PA's that he had were absolutely AWESOME - Laura and Jill (they have both since left the practice.) The front desk staff is not friendly but not to say they are necessarily rude either. The one thing that "Did it" for me as it relates to eventually leaving their care was the PA Amy Brettman.
