A few months ago my father was brought to Westgate nursing Home.My family and I were horrified at what we saw. It was very dirty and dismal. It just isnt the kind of place that you would ever want to send your loved one.Needless to say we took our father right out.Having a loved one go to a nursing home is a very difficult thing and its magnified when youre afraid to leave them because youre not sure if they will receive good care.Please do NOT send your loved one to Westgate Nursing Home!
Though the staff seem very nice and caring, the constant lack of quality careis rather upsetting. In the summer the temp. rises so high it makes you sick just standing there.I have heard many concerns about how people are treated and the lack of stimulating programs. I have actually heard more than one resident call this place"hellgate"
