Pier is always closed because it’s a little bit windy. No Tiki bar if there’s a little wind or rain. Lame. All the seaweed smells terrible, they should rake it up. Been coming here forever and won’t miss it.
It was a good visit and very peaceful.
My wife and I stopped here late in the morning of August 15, 2025 while on a camping trip to Jetty Park a few miles to the north of it. We tried to go in the morning after breakfast, but the parking lot was closed and the attendant told us it opened at 11:00, but it was going to cost us $15 to park. I wasn't real happy about that, but we came back after checking out nearby Ron Jon Surf Shop for a few hours.
