Now that SeaQuest will be opening in the mall, I’ll no longer be shopping there. It’s 2019, we should be well past the whole animals-as-entertainment concept! The SeaQuest company is riddled with significant issues, including major animal welfare concerns; a basic google search reveals numerous articles discussing them in detail. I’ve zero interest in giving my business to a mall that chooses to lease space to such a despicable company.
Please close Seaquest Aquarium. Awful animal welfare. Fish, reptiles, birds and other animals there should not be handled or even touched by the public, it causes them pain, stress, fear and anxiety. This is not the way to educate children about these amazing creatures, we should be teaching children to show them compassion and respect, not contribute to their suffering and exploitation. Seaquest is hell on earth for these beautiful animals, close it down.

Today I took my girls to visit Santa and check the yearly picture off of the list. I was beyond disappointed to hear what the conversation with Santa consisted of.
