So fed up with this practice. Feeling ill and not having any confidence in your GP to help or even try is a serious issue.
Terrible doctors surgery. Can't get passed the reception. When you do, you never see the sane doctor twice. I was told by a doctor that a lump on my neck was throat cancer before having an examination! Also waited 6 days for a prescription getting sent to the chemist. I have tried to move doctors but can't register with another in the same town! The only doctors surgery I've come across that is bad for your health!
So grateful to have joined this lovely surgery. Receptionists have been lovely and friendly. The building itself is clean, quiet and welcoming and I think I had the nicest nurse I’ve ever seen in my life today. Mandy was so professional and caring, and explained everything in such detail without rushing me. Thank you. I think at a time when there are so many complaints about GPs and NHS it’s really important to point out the good stuff.
Receptionists act like gate keepers. Give unqualified medical advice that's dangerous. Receptionists also lie and then tell you they didn't even though you have proof. Would advise that it could be counterproductive and detrimental to your health to join this surgery.
Receptionist staff lie, but I have a witness so I will be taking it further. Dr hoy also gave my mum a prescription with another patients name and address, breaching GDPR, which I will also have to complain about to the ombudsman.
