Great Medicine, Great Staff - Just a great place! I was very nervous, and I had just moved and left my vet of 12 years. WOW! Was I impressed! The staff treated myself and Maggie (my dog!) as if they had known us for years. The clinic, though older, was clean and tidy inside and the staff made up for it three fold! The invoice was extrememly reasonable and I left feeling I had more knowledge of my pets health then I had with the vet who knew her since she was 12 weeks old. Great Place! I am a "newer" client to the Westerville Vet Clinic, having only been a client for about 5 months now. However, it has been a medical nightmare with both my pets the last few months and Westerville Vet has been just amazing. My senior cat had a history of not eating for over 2 years prior to when I first brought her in, bloodworks, exams, xrays, teeth cleanings and nearly $3000 later 2 other vets could not find any reason for her to stop eating for days at a time. They don't mind if your dog pees on their legs! Our dog had a habit of urinating when she got excited. Each and every time we took her to the vet's office, she peed. Sometimes on the technician, the vet or just on the floor. They always laughed, gave her a good rub and cleaned it up - they are truly animal people. They don't kisses either. This place is a ripoff . I took my dog there with an ear infection and they up sold me on the treatment plan that needed a culture to treat the correct infection . After $177 .00 and two visits my dog continued to have the same ear problem ! I was told they didn't have any appointment this week and when I said I was going elsewhere they had me come in immediately? Guess what no clients were there when I got there ? Watch out for them getting the bill up VERY quickly. Best to ask them what things are going to cost before they do anything, because they are very quick at doing things that cost a lot of money without consulting you first.
highly recommend this place---have taken all my dogs here for over 18 years---Doctor and staff are wonderful, caring people. The groomer is fantastic. They greet you & your babies with a smile and enthusiasm and they take the time to listen and answer questions either by phone, email or in person. I have been a resident of Westerville for 10 yrs and never knew the Westerville Vet Clinic even existed until I saw their (beautiful) new building! I decided to schedule a grooming appointment for my Peekapoo, and I am so glad I did! I am now a full client and have used their boarding and grooming services and just recently had my first real "vet" experience. I decided to transfer clinics as I my vet of over 15 years was now a 30 minute drive. I was very nervous about my first visit, as I was with the same clinic for many years. I was HAPPILY surprised by how nice, caring and educated all the employees seemed to be. I find it heartwarming that the pets are often greeted and introduced to staff before us people are. It made a nerve racking experience a joy and I am grateful to have found such a wonderful place to bring my girls!
I was so happy with my experience! From the greeting at the front desk to having the door opened for me as I left, it was honestly the most comforting and relaxing vet visit I have ever had! The staff is excellent, everyone seems to take part in the visit - I even had the office manager stop in just to introduce herself to me because I was a new client. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone.
