A real gem in the city.
This place appears to be permanently closed. I tried to go here today, but another store owner in the building informed me that the owner has retired.
Retired after 40 years!
If you have a watch or clock that needs repairing, go soon because the owner will be retiring in the next few months. He is a master at what he does. His shop and excellent service are very old school, which is a rare charm in today’s world.
He destroyed my Birks watch. It stopped working two weeks after fixing it . He also put a plastic crystal on the watch . He charged me $190. Absolute rip off. He probably spent ten minutes on it . He’s a scammer,real nice,then you pick it up and charges an absurd amount of money . He also charged me for a leather band,which turned out be cardboard and plastic.The face was missing half the numbers after he cleaned it . Don’t ever waste your time with this scammer!!!
