Dreadful I have had two awful experiences with this company and in both instances, never got to actually ride a horse. Attempt number 1 was in September of 2004. A friend and I booked a ride, showed up at the concession and the guide and horses never showed up. Attempt number 2 was late August 2007 and was much worse. Asked to show up 15 minutes before our scheduled ride, we arrived more like 20 minutes early and decided to sit with our daughter to watch the horses. Great, great jewel in our midst! I recently had a terrific experience with the Western Trail Riding Service. It was myself and my 10 year old friend named Tony who also takes weekly lessons at Las Trampas Stables with Cindy, the manager and trainer of the stable. We had the most enjoyable ride and we were carefully paired with their beautiful horses. I felt we were in safe hands, and would recommend the experience to anyone.
