This company lied to me several times and my husband died two months ago and I still haven’t received it almost 14 days later. They screw beneficiaries over and the claim process is all about them. Other life insurance companies paid in five days. What a joke when you’re losing your house.

I have had a horrible time getting in touch with anyone connected to this Company. It shouldn't be this hard, all the years, I've had this policy and it feels like for nothing. I feel like you're hiding behind the phone. God help us.

My mother in law has been paying on a $25,000 policy for 37 years, she's paid $15,400 to date. Every year it goes up, right now it's $100 a month. She is in good health, retired and receives a small fixed income. She called Western and Southern to ask about her options. She was told her policy doesn't mature until she is 94 years old and if she cancels she will receive $206.
