If I could give less than zero stars I would, I seriously doubt the accuracy and authenticity of the 4 and 5 star reviews. Do your homework! Western Skyways is a poorly managed and crooked operation. They do horrible work and do not stand behind it, in fact they will not even talk to you if you have a concern or complaint about their work. AVOID THIS PLACE! There are plenty of reputable engine shops that do good work.

Spent the entire day at the WS facility yesterday. Got to demo an A36 w/a 550 turbonomalized engine. My partner and I absolutely loved it! Eric and Al are great guys, looking forward to doing business w/them.
I took a tour of the rebuild shop yesterday and then watched my reman engine run in the test cell this morning. Eric Barker and his team are thorough and professional. Eric took the time to school me in the procedures of breaking in an aircraft engine after install. I'm an engineer and an old diesel mechanic that has rebuilt many engines. These guys are very good and very knowledgeable.
Excellent service and communication. I got my IO-550 from them. Lots of parts came with the engine, like the exhaust nuts and fuel fittings; "options" that I've seen left off of engines from other shops. Delivery was on time with professional logistics.
