Normally we like to do business with local Ohio companies but Western Reserve has been horrible in denying a claim for my 90 year old father in law. As an honored veteran, he deserves to be treated with respect but instead they have continually put up road blocks during this process. No doubt I would never recommend anyone to do business with this company. We have filed a complaint with the Ohio Department of Insurance and will continue to fight for his rights just like he fought for the freedom of our country.

I have been with this company for almost five years, I have a bundle policy my home and two vehicles. Long story short after my son got a newer car and I had to put full coverage on the car instead of liability my insurance went up to $345.00 a month so of course I canceled. Three weeks later they took the money out of my bank account anyway and it took over a week to replace it by mail and only returned $319.00 not the full amount the took out of my account.

I had coverage on a trailer that I had all of my home items stored in for the last 3 years. Once I opened the trailer, I found there were holes in the roof where water and mice had gotten in. This caused all of our items to be ruined. Western Reserve Group has decided not to cover our claim, stating that the holes in the roof were caused by normal wear and tear.
