Terrible customer service at Western Recycling in Fruitland. Every time I go, the same guy acts like I’m an inconvenience, standing next to me suspiciously as I sort my materials. It’s as if he forgets that the only reason this place exists is because people bring them recyclables. On top of that, their hours are completely unreliable. Their website clearly states they’re open until 5 PM, but when I arrived at 4:30, I was told they actually close at 4:30. Only checks and 01 cents a pound on scrap metal don't wast your time just go to TVM in Payette .
Had a load of cardboard to drop off. Got there at 11:50 am on a Tuesday morning. Gate was closed and no one answered the phone. Cars there but apparently no one working. Waste of time.
Stay open till you say you're going to close. I showed up at 1:38 and yall were already closed. Update- still closing early..you guys need to run your business a bit better.
Do not tell you they only pay 1 cent per lb on metal until your metal is unloaded. Do not take metal here 189$ net loss when I could have driven 4 minutes further had I known.
