Not gonna lie, the front desk lady, Connie, and the psychiatrist I saw was more therapeutic than any of the therapy I've had >_<
Seriously do not understand the poor ratings. I’ve had nothing but a good experience with Western. Connie at the front desk is amazing and always personable. The two counselors that I’ve seen have both been helpful and exactly what I needed at specific times in my life. Coming from a private/one person practice to Western was a change I didn’t want to make but it definitely hasn’t been bad. I appreciate all the help I’ve received and am grateful to have Western as a mental health option with my current insurance.
The McDonald's of mental health care. Unprofessional, bottom rung providers who are clearly disillusioned with their lot in life due to low pay. Most of the staff are counselors not psychologists not psychiatrists, just prescribing psychiatrist nurse practitioners.
Yeah, be careful getting medication here, Jennifer Foresman falsely accused my boyfriend of being on meth when he is not and did not even talk to him about it and now he is not able to get the medication he needs.
I went to WPCS for roughly six months while I was having difficulty dealing with some major life events. Let me first say that I believe I received quality care while I was there. As much frustration as I have with their billing practices, it would be disingenuous of me to put that off on the Psychologists and counselors on staff, who really seemed to care about my well-being.
