Have just had day surgery at hospital and all the staff were wonderful, very helpful and most caring. Five star rating for my experience today.
Terrible place to be, work or eat! To control allergens, all food is dairy free ,gluten free ,egg free. All food has come from a freezer with no monitoring of cooling process. They dont cook fresh! (Health and safety breaches) brought up with management but they decided to fire me instead of addressing the major health and safety issues. 17 years as a chef and I've never seen anything like it, specially from a hospital!! Nurse James, Nurse Adele, Dr Duy Thai, Dr Phil Johnson and the entire team at Western Private all took excellent care of me for my recent orthopedic surgery. This was my first ever surgery and overnight trip to hospital, so naturally I was a bit overwhelmed by everything, however, they made the process seamless. Such bad communication between team members. My allergies were ignored, my documents were not referred to, my name was incorrect. Given you pay for this hospital, it’s a pretty bad service.
