Nurse James, Nurse Adele, Dr Duy Thai, Dr Phil Johnson and the entire team at Western Private all took excellent care of me for my recent orthopedic surgery. This was my first ever surgery and overnight trip to hospital, so naturally I was a bit overwhelmed by everything, however, they made the process seamless. Such bad communication between team members. My allergies were ignored, my documents were not referred to, my name was incorrect. Given you pay for this hospital, it’s a pretty bad service.
Nurse Mary is the most supportive and informative nurse. Phoned in around 3am on a Wednesday and talked about a very unusual and mostly unknown situation and she knew exactly what it was and gave me the proper guidance I needed.
Day surgery only but for my short stay, nothing but highest praise for medical, nursing staff and facilities.
I had a day procedure done today and I was very impressed with the whole process from admission to discharge. Everyone was polite and caring. My procedure went smoothly, in and out in 3.5hrs. All doctors and nurses introduced themselves and kept me informed along the way. I would highly recommend this hospital. Very friendly, professional and organised.
