Abusive staff that treats people like trash, people that genuinely need help. The only good staff member was the guy with the Lilo and stitch tattoo. They also falsified that I was involuntarily commited which I was not, I was voluntary. Now I'm fighting for my gun rights. I went there because I was suicidal and needed detox for alcohol. Combat vet from Afghanistan and can't own a firearm because they claimed I was involuntary without informing me.

I have been there twice involuntarily. The old building looked like a haunted castle. It was a really scary sight to see especially when you are out of your mind. I heard people screaming and had to ignore it so I didn't get in trouble but I know they were doing something really bad to her. It was kinda uncomfortable furniture and really bad food and you have to eat it or they report it. No trading food or you get in trouble. It's a little like jail but you can earn privileges later. Outside of the modern abuse allegations the history is enough to make it not a good place for mental recovery, GET THE MENTALLY ILL OUT OF THAT EX TORTURE CHAMBER! THIS IS A LITERAL MENTAL ASLYUM WITH OVER 100 YEARS OF INHUMANE ABUSE! TO MUCH DARK HISTORY FOR ANY SANITY. KEEP THIS ONE FOR HISTORIC LESSONS TO BE LEARNED AND MAKE A NEW ONE.
