Shout out to the cleaners. Each time visiting the public toilets spotless floors & toilets ect
I find the medical staff to be thorough and kind. The food is nourishing,varied and tasty. No one likes being in hospital but when it's necessary the best one to be is Footscray W.G.H. Thank you to all staff.
Ive been at Footscray emergency department since 12:30 pm and it's now 6:20 pm with no pain management for a pinched sciatica nerve. A lady had a sun spot who got through in 2.5 hrs. They need to wake up to reality and tell people that they need to go to their local doctors. They call this fast track, I sat there for 7hrs with no food or pain management and still did not get seen.
What a disappointment of a hospital. No matter your pain or injuries they do absolutely nothing to investigate. You get judged for leaving your room and as a person with a back injury, everyone knows we cannot lay in bed all day as it makes the pain worse. The pain specialist is a joke, tells me my pain is all in my head and it’s not real so I am taken all the pain meds off me but this stupid under the tongue that does nothing. Just had this experience here, I am under anaesthetics and the nurse who woke me up pinched my jaw that much hard. I cannot feel that much in the hospital but when I got home its too painful. Wayyyy painful and I can’t really tell how painful it is until now. I am feeling that it bruised, so everytime i turn my head left or right I feel pain. My jaw is too painful.
