I was admitted to Footscray Hospital through the emergency department by ambulance due to severe pain and the need for laparoscopic surgery. I know our health system is in dire straights. I know the government seems reluctant to help improve the public health system, when they would rather spend tax payers money on the unnecessary. But l personally believe this is no excuse for some Dr's, nurse's and administration staff to behave with no compassion, interest, seemingly uncaring, down right rude and bordering on negligence. I’ll admit I had my biases about coming to Footscray hospital and sure the facilities aren’t great, but I presented to emergency with unexplained pain that turned out to be appendicitis. From the moment I entered to my operation, every staff member I came into contact with was amazing and kind and professional, I was treated so well and they diagnosed the problem quickly. Hands down the best treatment I have received from any fancy hospital I have been to in the past.
I’m on category 2 electives waiting list which is 90 days but I’m being waiting for nearly 2 years still not my turn yet kakakaka
I wouldn't let a mutt stay here it's deplorable tefused pill as was in agony from food poisoning get no pain relief cos it's footscray
