About 2months ago my husband and I noticed a Wecom truck with what appeared to be some of their employees across the street from our home. We figured they were doing installations for people in the neighborhood, as we don't own computers and use our cellphones as such, with mobile data rather than Wi-Fi. Wecom Fiber is not ready for prime time. Streaming high definition TV often locks up. When I contacted support they implied that I have too many devices connected. I have had the same number of devices with 100MB Starlink and never had any problems. My Starlink plan only cost $80 a month that's only $5 more than the Wecom fiber 500MB plan. We are now in a 24+ hour complete internet outage on Wecom with no updates on when of if they will get it working. I fear this company is just a scam to get federal and state funding. .
This appears to be the company where one hand doesn’t know what the other one is doing and in my case it’s been a total disaster. They promised to be ready for installation in January 2026, so I placed my first pre-order in October 2025. When I called in January 2026 the first pre-order was nowhere to be found so we created the second one. Then in February I got a notice that they were ready to install. Wecom Fiber is great! Just had Greg out to repair a line. Greg is a true gentleman and a very hard working individual. He is also man man of his word. He told us he would have us back online...and he did! Great service, great price & excellent internet. They had this fixed the next day. My hats off to Greg and quality service. I highly recommend Wecom Fiber.
