My son's rental has gone 3 weeks without water. It was not taken seriously and met with dismissive and sarcastic comments. Having been a landlord I would have been mortified to have a company like this servicing my properties.
Do not rent 302 Spalding road,many repairs needed
Western Carolina Rental company Ripped me off of $600.00 out of my deposit.They charged me for work that was pre-existing when I moved into 302 Spalding Road,Sylva NC.I had the house cleaned by a Professional House cleaning company and said that it was not cleaned.They had a Yard man clean up, and they charged me for work that was already there when I moved in.Stay away from 302 Spalding Road House in Sylva.If you are going 2 buy DON'T.House needs lots of repairs 2 make it Comfortable 2 live in.
Western Carolina Rentals touts their professionalism and protection of the landlords. What I haven't seen is what they do to protect the tenants. Untreated maintenance requests, egregious charges for furniture replacement (that wasn't brand new to begin with and coming apart) and no responses to messages. Much like many of the other lower-scoring reviewers stated, the attitude from Erik is unnecessary. i have been renting from them since november and i have nothing bad to say about erik and his team they are very understanding and they will work with you if you have any concerns or questions
