We've had a great experience renting with Western Carolina! Everyone is so sweet, especially Alisha, and they respond to anything we need in a timely manner. They're super great and we're planning to rent with them for as long as we're in the area, which should be a while! :)
I’ve been renting with WC Rentals for the past 4 years and am on my third rental home with them and they’ve been nothing but great to me! Alisha has always been the most helpful in finding me a new rental when I’ve needed to move. They’ve always been very prompt when responding to maintenance requests as well and getting things done quickly when needed. Please do your research before renting from WCR! If you are a parent of a student looking for housing, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere and avoiding cosigning. From what I’ve seen and read, this company has faced legal disputes in the past, and their owner, Erik Enberg, often responds to critical reviews in a way I personally find very unprofessional. Just read his replies to the 1-star reviews and decide if that’s the type of landlord you want to deal with.
My son's rental has gone 3 weeks without water. It was not taken seriously and met with dismissive and sarcastic comments. Having been a landlord I would have been mortified to have a company like this servicing my properties.
