I cannot thank Western Carolina Animal Hospital enough for their amazing care of my dog in an ingestion emergency. After being turned away by two other vets closer to our rental property due to short staffing, Western Carolina did not hesitate to take our dog back immediately and induce vomiting before we even finished the paperwork at the front desk. Their quick care after unnecessary delays by other vets, helped our sweet dog be just fine. The absolute best!

So thankful for their quick diagnosis and surgery for my dog when his spleen ruptured. They saved his life and the ICU took great care of him after. My only complaint is communication post surgery was very poor and I had to call and find out he had cancer from reception and was never able to speak to a vet and had to research on my own then ask for a referral after finding my own oncologist. We will definitely still bring all our critters for care because they are some of the best around.

They helped my Chihuahua with his teeth. He's 11 and acting like a puppy again. So grateful to their staff.

Dr Hughes did a wonderful job helping Cricket with a leg amputation. He made us all feel at peace and fully confident with the decision. Cricket left less than 24 hours later and is already mobile with 3 legs. Thank you sooooo very much for Being Great in every way!

Took my dog out here to have her euthanized due to serious injury. It was the most awesome experience. The staff were so very compassionate and gentle and kind. The process was very nice. They first give the dog sedation and then they proceed to do the euthanization. I cannot say enough about this place. I highly recommend it. My daughter also takes her cat there. She loves it there and will not take her cats anywhere else. Thank you for all that you did to help our dog Molly. Great people 🩷🩷🩷🩷
