I had a total knee replacement 7 weeks ago and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. I had my other knee replaced 5 years ago at Emerge Otho but I’m so glad I went with Dr Silverberg this time.

Have had a problem with my hip but they say it's my back pain in my hip is 1 or 2 in the morning to 8 to 9 in the evening. Guess I'll just have to put up with it and self medicated

I was cautious to have surgery performed in a small market. After meeting with the medical staff at WCOS and then Dr. Silverberg my concerns were put to rest. I can’t tell you enough how impressed I’am with their level of care and communication. The entire experience from pre op through surgery and post op care was seem less. Everything I should expect was outlined in advance and accurate. The recovery experience compared to a shoulder replacement and knee surgery was mild in comparison. Western Carolina Orthopedic Specialists are an excellent group. I have interacted with multiple doctors and support professionals in this practice and each experience has been exceptional. In addition to my interactions, I have met multiple other of their patients at physical therapy. All of us have nothing but good things to say. You know how it goes: Someone asks what your procedure was and who did it. The rest is history, it turns into a brag session. All of us have great things to say.

This is the place to go for hip/knee replacement. Dr. Silverberg is an excellent orthopedic surgeon.
