Good place to shop I have been shopping at Westdale Mall for many years. They have many great places to shop. JCPenney's is my favorite store there. It is very conveniently located and they have plenty of parking available. I have always found the mall to be very clean. I am disappointed because some good stores have moved out of this mall. There seems to be too many empty shops. There are not very many eating places here and very little seating for the eating places there are.
has seen its better days We recently stopped off at Westdale mall to do a bit of shopping. We were amazed that most of the upper level was vacant. We seemed to be walking around without any stores to browse through. If you want to walk for exercise go here, if you want to shop go elsewhere.
Mall with the basics, yet needs a face lift Westdale Mall is in the perfect location: right in the heart of the SW side of Cedar Rapids.There are many nice stores in the mall (Yonkers, Von Maur, Maruices, Universitees, Bath and Body works, etc.). The downside is that much of the upper half of the mall is vacant! I would like to see more stores.. PROS: location CONS: aging exterior, vacancies, needs more stores
