I took my child to Westchester Health to see Dr. Georgina Leylegian at the recommendation of a friend. My child had been having the same symptoms and excruciating pain I had years ago and for which condition I had to undergo surgery. Despite that I gave Dr. Leylegian my entire medical history, and despite that this condition is well known for having a genetic factor, she completely disregarded what I was saying and instead blamed it on "gas" in the intestines.
