Shout out to Westbury Bank! Received a call today to check and see I was the one who made some purchases online with my debit. And. Turns out my card has been compromised but none of the transactions went through thanks to their watchful eye!
WestBury Bank needs more locations, they closed the one in Richfield which I liked and was close to home, it is unbelievable how far I have to go out of my way to go to one of the banks. And now I don't like how you have to ask them for the balance all the time for your accounts, its ridiculous, Sorry, but it is really gone down the drain since I first stated with West Bend Savings bank many years ago. I am actually thinking of taking my money out and going to another bank that is better.
Like to nickel and dime you with all the fees. They charge you a fee daily for having under the minimum balance in your savings account and then when asked about it they tell you " you should really know how your savings account works". So I transferred everything into my checking account and closed out the savings. Plan on moving everythng to Landmark credit union. They treat you much better and don't have fees.
