My experience of this Medical Centre has been first class. Friendly receptionists, a wide range of nurses to deal with my diabetes, blood tests etc. In house surgery for a minor procedure and I consider myself very lucky to have Dr Linton as my doctor. Understanding, empathetic and very professional. In these days when the NHS is underfunded and going through change, how lucky are we to have Westbourne Medical Centre. Thank you.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years and used to consider it a rare gem, a place where you could be seen within a few weeks and where both the reception team and doctors genuinely listened and cared. Unfortunately, the standard of care and service has deteriorated significantly. Dropped a stool sample off over 2 weeks ago due to having chronic diarrhoea for 2 weeks. 17 days after dropping off stool sample, still no contact. Reached out to surgery to find out what's going on, only to be told they got the test results back 12 days ago. Nobody bothered to contact me or update my file on the NHS website. They also didn't test for the one thing I specifically asked them to test for! Now I have to do ANOTHER test because of their incompetence!

Editing, I doubt anything will be done anyway. 13 months with an awful health condition. No one is helping. Referred for op but the hospital got a locum doctor to see me and he was useless. Complained to GP and currently in a two month waiting period for him to call me about the locum doctor meeting from JUNE. If I could move GP I would. But I cannot go far so what’s the point.

Receptionist seemed rude and patronising. Called to ask about missing emails that had been sent to the surgery - receptionist insisted that nothing was wrong and that we were the problem, was patronising the entire time. Possibly racially motivated. There is a concern that the surgery lost sensitive medical information.
