Visited the tourism office at the Capital complex a few days ago and Hillary answered many questions for us and gave us tips and advice that were very much appreciated. Also a beautiful office area. She was super friendly and nice to my wife & I. The only reason that I didn't give 5☆ is because it was difficult to locate and then difficult to access. No signage to show where to go, then you must go through security to get into building (I understand this) but then the office in the secure building is locked with no signs and... read more
Whatever You do steer clear of this state. I ran out of gas on a road that didn't have a gas station for miles. Before I could return with gas My car was towed. It was well off the road. The tow bill was almost $500.00! I didn't have it. It set off a chain of events that led to Mr being rendered homeless. I lost My job, because I had no way to get there. About two years ago myself and family rode through a small portion of W.V. North to get to Maryland. The drive was lovely, easy, and relaxing.
