I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 14 years two weeks ago. Maggie had seen Dr. LeMaistre three times this past year for hair loss. We had made the decision that the best thing was to let Maggie go as she had become aggressive in a matter of two weeks.. The staff was so caring and really made the goodbye a tad easier, giving me some time with her during this difficult process. I URGE YOU NOT TO USE THIS CLINIC if you care for your family's pets. On October 13, 2015, I brought in my very sick Australian Bearded Dragon to West Villa Maria Vet Clinic. Our lizard has been our family pet for more than 5 years. The lizard had a fluid-filled, infected abscess on its lower jaw, causing it pain and difficulty eating. The staff took a sample of the fluid, supposedly examined it under a microscope, and then told me they were sending the sample out to a lab for analysis. I took my kitten in today for her first round of kitten shots. I've been here once before and saw Dr. Baggs, who I thought was very nice and knowledgeable. However, today I saw Dr. Worrell and I was not impressed at all. Not only did she make me wait for over 15 minutes, but it seemed she couldn't care less about my kitten. It was like she couldn't get us out of there fast enough. She gave my kitten a shot and an oral vaccination, but didn't even tell me what she was giving my kitten.
