great spot for a picnic! lovely patches of grass to sit on (away from the headstones, of course) and overall a nice quiet spot to relax
My Grandparents on My Mother's side are "LAID TO REST" here at The "WEST VIEW CEMETERY". SEVERAL Aunts, Uncles & Cousins are ALSO "RESTING IN PEACE" here. I REMEMBER on BEAUTIFULLY SUNNY Sunday Afternoons that My Mom & Dad would bring Water Jugs, Clean Dirt & Fresh Smelling Flowers to the GRAVE SITES to get rid of the Dead (NO PUN INTENDED) Flowers & Weeds that had GROWN Around their GRAVE MARKERS. Do not go here if you want to stop briefly for Pokemon Go. The groundskeeper very rudely chased a small group of us out while HOLDING A GUN behind his back. That's right, A GUN. We were not being rude or disrespectful. We were simply gathering for something in the game and didn't plan to be there more than 5 minutes. There is no signage to indicate it's a private cemetery. None whatsoever. I am glad my life will never be so meaningless as to intimidate 4 harmless nerds playing a game with a gun.
