BEWARE-- RUINED EXPENSIVE COAT and SHIRTS, THEN BLAMED ME FOR IT AND THREATENED ME. I brought my $500 coat for cleaning last week. It had only been worn a few times, but there were a few stains on the on wrist which I pointed out to the old Vietnamese lady. When I picked up the coat this week, it was completely ruined. Shrunken Sweater! – Sadly parallel to the review below: West U cleaners shrunk my wife's sweater, blamed us, gave us the run-around on store credit, and then, finally, aborted negotiations. A few weeks ago, we picked up our drycleaning and noticed that my wife's sweater had shrunken to a size that it couldn't even fit our dog (though we didn't try!). We moved back to West University in January of 2006, and started dropping our dry cleaning off at West U Cleaners. We were weekly customers. Last week, they ruined one of my husband's shirts. When we pointed it out to the manager, he blamed it on sweat! He refused to accept responsibility for the shirt, so we are going to take them to small claims court.
