West Transmission and Total Auto Care does great work with a quick turnaround. Their receptionist was very helpful and courteous. I had a ball joint go out on my 1989 GMC Sierra, and was turned away at other shops in the area - most said they were either too backed up or did not work on trucks as old as mine. West had no problem taking my truck in, and took care of the repairs in about one day. Please get a second opinion..Before you do anything make sure you kno you will be charged an 89.00 diagnose text with just someone looking at a drip stick smh..Went to another transmission shop and didnt need a transmission just dirty fluid like I figured...I would say they had ppl before me and I saw service right away maybe I see why it took 3 mins and I still tip the mechanic but I wont return
I wish I could give them 0 stars. I went in and explained I needed my hub bearings changed and the car was making a vibrating noise. There were no lights on my dashboard. I was told I needed a rear end and just one hub bearing. After paying almost $2800 when I got my car back, the steering is messed up. TLDR: Transmission fluid leak; repaired at a fair price and work guaranteed for 1 year. Front desk is great. Enjoyed dealing with their front office! The boss took a little time to chat about the process and bracketed estimates. April at the desk was friendly and honest, very pleasant to work with.
