The service here is excellent however the product is terrible. Went to get some compost and was given something that’s now sprouting weeds and grass as well as full of stones. It was also hydrophobic so really not suitable for anything but ground filler.
Great price, selection, service (I am 71 and was made to feel young) and delivery, well that was very punctual and cheap. And even with a lovely smile.
Friendly, reasonably priced, do deliveries.. but do your own testing if you get soil or compost. Picked up a whole heap of the Dulverton compost - with an advertised neutral pH in the flyer you get ~6.5.. turns out to be incredibly basic at 8.5.. nothing will ever grow in this, so now have to add several kilos of sulphur to acidify over the next few weeks, pretty well nuked the plants we put in it, and also has small plastic bits of silage plastic in it.
