Great Doctors but incompetent front office staff We have been taking our animals to West Russell for the past 4 years. Love Dr. Roach and when he is not present , all alternative Veterinarians have been great with our animals. The only throw back I have is the front staff over the years have become extremely incompetent and are not helpful at all. A possible reboot in training may be needed as this is the face/voice of this office and a bad taste can leave people searching for a new location.
Totally Agree with Matt West Russell seems very pleasant on the surface. The staff is friendly. Delve a little deeper though ,and, in my opinion, we have a struggling vet who may or may not be competent, and who is trying to play ever angle to make a buck. As Matt says, when presented with legitimate concerns, Dr. Roach becomes defensive, eventually refusing to discuss ongoing concerns/issues with me. Disappointing way to treat a good/ regular client Like most other reviews here I had been around to other boarding places for my two German Shephards. I immediately fell in love with this place and the staff. It wasn't until our forth extended boarding that something had to be said regarding the condition that our dogs were being returned in. Dr Roach and Ashley For our first visit to West Russell Animal Hospital I have to say I was very impressed. Dr Roach and Ashley were very patient with Zena who was very excited. I appreciated their kindness and understanding. We will be back and refer friends to their facility.
Great Vet & Boarding Facility is very nice and Dr. Roach and his staff are friendly and awesome! First time my dog came home from being boarded and was not freaked out. He loved Jasmine and even went to follow her into back rather than trying to flee the place! Already booked to board again!
