This place was a hidden gem
This venue was such a dream! About a year ago my wife and I had toured this venue and immediately fell in love with all of the gorgeous and timeless art and all of the venues quirks. Working with Kurt has been awesome. He has been very accommodating and he is very sweet and kind. He has helped our wedding vision come true. West River House is a beautiful setting and gorgeous house perched over the Guadalupe River. Egrets, hawks, and song birds galore provide a serene atmosphere that’s perfect for weddings, memorial services, or any celebration of life. Daughter's Wedding Mid-November 2023. Beautiful day, beautiful location. Host was incredibly flexible on the setup. The property was the perfect location for our wedding size of about 65 people. We enjoyed a delightful, relaxing brunch in the venue the day after the wedding. The rooms were comfortable. The kitchen and bar areas worked out perfectly for us. Plenty of room for parking and golf cart valet service for the guests. My caterer thought it was the perfect place for his setup. I highly recommend!
So my husband left a review on here and was responded to with information that wasnt correct so i wanted to come and say our part since we arent able to reply to the original post. Although yes no one was severely hurt when the restroom tiles fell and hit my grandmother in the head during her shower i truly believe we should have received part of our money back for this problem but instead Kurt blamed the construction company which was so idiotic as that has nothing to do with us and that is his problem.
