West Point Inn has a very rustic and welcoming feel. The Innkeepers are awesome! Especially Gordon, Jim, Pat, Bob, Janice and David. There is a new Innkeeper Kathy who is awesome! Always there to help you with vast amounts of really useful information. They are all very familiar with the numerous trails that stretch out all over Mount Tamalpais, they can make great recommendations for loop hikes, long hikes, short hikes and everything in-between. Absolutely stunning views!!
It is a beautiful place to rest after a lovely hike. Hummingbirds zoom around, and Carl the fog most of the time covers like a blanket the view down below. Never stayed in or dined here, though a snack bar is available to get some snacks for the road.
