Had terrible issues trying to get my electric service moved from temporary pole to my house which was being renovated. I could not get HVAC hooked up so work could not continue on the inside of the home until that was running. After almost 2 weeks of unreturned calls to the "scheduler" and emails back and forth to a customer service rep from First Energy who was trying to get someone from West Penn to contact me, I'm finally told they would do work on Wednesday. Waited 2 hrs for a call back... they called back and no one on the other line.....4 hours later still no humans. Great customer service....jk
Got an email in June saying my payment was overdue - even though my bill is charged automatically to my credit card. I talk to a customer service rep and she blames it on me and says I AM THE ONE WHO CANCELLED THE PAYMENT METHOD on my account. I seriously couldn't remember the last time I logged onto my account. I didn't even know my password. Anyways, to resolve it, she says to log onto my account and add the payment information again, and that the bill will be paid the next billing cycle. So far they’ve been fairly good at getting my power restored and basically all I need is a phone call and they’ll restore my power. I do understand when there are outages and trees on the lines. You just don’t get those trees done in just a few hours. sympathies to those that have had outages, and lost items in the freezer. Anyone needing trees taken care of you can contact me
