We brought our baby girl in this evening as she was quite under the weather. I won’t get into specifics, but our nurse (Angelo? I can’t remember. Thankfully I have friends that work in the ER so then I can make sure this man gets the recognition he deserves) was absolutely incredible. As a nurse, I know what good care looks like, but he exceeded any of my expectations. He was so thoughtful with our Millie Jane, so careful with us. There are truly no words to say how thankful we are for him tonight.

5 hrs, today! The time i arrived at the emergency. 6 people ahead. Low income senior here. Unacceptable! Now i find out the pills they gave me, to fix a cut,ciprofloxan, started a 30 day cronic diareeha. Now they have to give me another pill to kill what that pill did to my stomach.

Wait times in the emergency department are way to long , there should be no need for a patient to wait over 6 hrs to be seen, I was in a room waiting to be seen for well over two hours and I was the second patient called in to a room , there needs to be a major change in the ER , like idk maybe a few more doctors on to get patients threw with out the long ridiculous wait times , may daughters boyfriend lost a whole day of work cause he was waiting in the ER to be seen , and I know ppl who have left the ER because of the long... read more

Went to visit from Mississauga for a laceration stitch. Took about 3 hours wait which is way better than most hospitals in Toronto and Mississauga wait times (about 6 to 12 hours or more). Thank you to the excellent staff from receptionists, nurses, and doctors at the ER department for the great experience! Staff were professional and friendly despite the amount of work vs. staffing ratio in rural areas like Parry Sound unlike in the cities in Toronto and GTA. I truly appreciate that!

Horrible experience bordering on just cruel. Sitting next to a pregnant lady vomiting for 6 hours straight begging to see a doctor but to no avail. Literally 4 patients in waiting room (multiple already left as they were fed up), and no-one seems in any hurry to help anyone, no compassion, no explanations, just a very sad experience and sign of the times. Our son was screaming in agony and issue diagnosed by nurse but won’t write us a prescription until doctor sees him, 7 hours later still waiting for doctor….
