I originally had Dr.Rutherford but she had left the facility. Than I got dr.webb He tried one medication with me . When I told him that it wasn't affect to me he says " well I wish you the best lisa"like what? One medication and than he doesn't mention switching to another. I see my family doctor tomorrow and will be telling her what an awful experience I have had there. A let down . I have severe ptsd and depression and he just wipes me off like his foot on a rug .
Just coming on here to say that although I did not connect with the first therapist I saw here, the second one that I was referred to, literally saved my life. The therapists name was Chris. He literally showed me that I had the strength to overcome my mental illness, and taught me that real therapy is the hardest thing you could ever do. 20 minute appointment & a 1 page questionnaire to determine the mental health of a patient is insufficient, I’d recommend finding private counselling to get a diagnosis and support, Someone who is willing to look further and take the time to evaluate fully. Or atleast follow up an appointment here with a second opinion from another facility to ensure you’re getting the time & care you deserve.
2 months after doctor referral to get an appointment, 90 minutes to get a tentative and very reasonable diagnosis, was given a counsellor to meet with monthly and put on a 1 year waitlist for treatment. No fault of the people working here, they were great, just be prepared to wait as with most mental health treatment.
